This three block panorama from a small hand-stitched quilt uses three traditional geometric designs with the center having a heart motif and the quadrant corners carrying smaller icons like the cross, anchor, flower, and butterfly. Those little add-ons were likely up to the creator's discretion and also one of the few asymmetrical areas in the piece. The entire quilt contains twelve blocks total with a narrow border. It is country style in traditional needlecraft and an interesting and colorful piece of rustic Americana. The quilt was sewn by my mother over thirty years ago approx late seventies and is kept on display in my home.
