This three block panorama from a small hand-stitched quilt uses three traditional designs with the leftmost block containing a log cabin motif, which is also one of the few asymmetrical areas in the overall piece. The other two blocks are geometric with the center flower section based on four to build the pattern, and the rightmost block pattern is based on eight.
The entire quilt contains twelve blocks total with a narrow border. It is country style in traditional needlecraft and an interesting and colorful piece of rustic Americana. The quilt was sewn by my mother over thirty years ago approx late seventies and is kept on display in my home.
